Ride #29 was a good run . Stopped too see some classics .Was 35C that's like a gazillion degrees for my  American  friends . lol. So I cooled off  with a 0.0 alcohol heini . Take care ride safe.

I remember that day.

  I remember that day Like it was yesterday . I road a ll day , must have covered 400 mi les . Morning ti l l night . Nothing but the wind in my face and the rumble of a 48 panhead chopper .The song it sang was the most wonderful music I have ever heard. It was the sound track to my life , my future my soul . Yes I remember that day we ll . Back then I could never imagine the the crazy wor l d we live in now . That how ever is not what saddens me . The idea that kids today can not imagine the view from the handlebars . Or the song of the 48 panhead engine. The kids are being taught to be weak scared and afraid .We must do better by them . We must lead by example . We must show them strength compassion bravery and courage .We l ive in a wor l d that Lacks authenticity and morality . ATGATT vs SQUID ?

      All. The . Gear .All .The . Time. VS  Squid riders ?  Ok ATGATT makes sense  but what is a squid ? Well  you could say to be polite  anyone who doesn't  wear proper gear. Now we are all guilty of  doing this ,self included . Years ago when I use to ride my 1948 Panhead  I  use to be the biggest squid . Didn't I have  good riding gear ? Yes !  But it was too hot two ware  the jacket  , my jeans  were good enough  and  tennis shoes  were  comfier then  boots . Yip that was me then lol . So what has  changed for me now ? Well  this time around my 22 years older  and  ponder my invincibility  a lot  more lol. I believe  we should be confident when we ride but also  realistic as well .
