 Don't get caught in the snow. Its that time of year again for us in the north .October can be an unpredictable  month for weather . Make sure you plan your rides well and watch the forecast.Keep in mind most drivers will not be expecting us to be out on the road . So stay vigilant .Hypothermia  can also creep up on us . So be wary of the symptoms . we also get tired more easily in the colder weather . Rain will be more frequent  so dress accordingly . If you do  get caught in the snow its best to pull over . If you have to ride  STAY OFF THE FRONT BRAKE !  Make sure you reduce your speed. Even with good tires ice can put you down vary easy . Corners can be real dangerous with ice and  snow . So its best to say close to home for your trips .  Best to have a plan B . Park the bike  find another way home . Ride well ride safe take care.

Keep your dang feet on the pegs . Watch for Smurfs !

  Keep your dang feet on the pegs ! Yes you heard me lol . Ok so what am I talking about ? Well let me paint the picture for you. When I took a motorcycle  course  years ago  they  taut us  to  come to a stop using both  brakes . Then you  put your feet down . Ok sounds normal right ? Ok let me go further  ,  now  your at the light  with  both your feet down  , light turns  green you start to  go  your feet are dangling  through the intersection  THEN! it happens  a smurf runs out in front of   you . You try to swerve  but  because  your feet are dangling  your bike wobbles unbalanced instead  of  steering  and manoeuvring.  You grab the front  brake  with the  handle bars  turned ,,,, SKUPUNK!! flop on the ground you go!
